This is one of my beloved speccys placed preciously alongside my PC.

There's nothing quite like that retro feel that simply cannot be replaced by an emulator. However, the convenience of emulators make for super-quick and instant game play!

The following Emulators are available from their respective owners and are distributed exactly as requested by the authors.

ZXSPIN


Description:
Works well on W2K and XP. Excellent sound and very good performance. Various formats and appears stable.

OS:

Tested on both Windows2000 and XP Pro without any problems Highly recommended.

ZX32

Description:
Tweak settings for optimal performance.
Not as stable as zxspin but still a good performer without the need to fork out a sum of cash for similar emulators currently available.

OS:

W95 release! However, tested on W2k & WinXP with relative success, but may require some work to tweak performance.

WinZX

Description:
Difficult to tweak optimal sound on XP- could be driver related, but speed is acceptable

OS:

Tested on W2k without much issues, but some work required to tweak performance. Tended to crash more frequently than others.

RealSpec

Description:
A lot of information and good speed.
Sound again may require a tweak, but stable than the DOS version and easier to manage.

Tested on XP-Pro with a few minor flaws but a nice full screen and speed.
